FIU cuts six percent from budget, eliminates cheerleading How in the world can they cut out cheerleading? I was a cheerleader, and the dang football/basketball teams would have been nothing without us! Also FIU would not release Freddy Asprilla from his scholarship. Yeah I'd really want to keep someone who didn't want to be with me!!!!! Isiah Thomas is really getting things done there at FIU! What's next to go? The band and fans? Oops forgot they don't have any fans!

Who would have thought FIU even had cheerleaders? I mean how can you possibly cheer on a team that bad. That's why I give you props Melisa for being able to continue to support WKU football, haha

Well Jay.. Wku was good at one time. But we've been in transition! Now it's time to come back and be good again!
Although it don't help that one of your best players on the team couldn't make the grades! By the way, who can't pass 6 freaking hours???
Quick Facts about WKU Football:
Newest of 120 Football Bowl Subdivision Members (I-A) - Eligible for Sun Belt title and Bowl Berth in 2009.
511 all-time wins, more than all Sun Belt members and 26th out of 120 FBS schools.
Recently renovated Houchens Industries - L.T. Smith Stadium features new locker room, weight room, training room, equipment room and meeting areas along with an expanded academic advising area. The stadium also features club seats, a $1.5 million video replay scoreboard and a state of the art playing surface installed in the spring of 2009.
29 football players graduated in 2008-09 and 948 APR is higher than all other Sun Belt Conference programs.
Second-highest attendance numbers in school history in 2008, and student attendance has increased 80% since 2006.
Enter 91st season of football in 2009: rich history includes 64 All-Americans, 12 conference championships, and 10 playoff appearances including 2002 I-AA National Championship.

well from this past year, probably because WKU would beat them. Can't be having Louisville and UK in one year beat by WKU... of course on a side note, we won't mention the Murray game!
