The Mets lost on an unassisted triple play today. And that bum Pedro got a cheap win! Everything that's possible has happened to my team this year. Please fire Minaya. Wilpon don't bring him back just because he's owed $3mil a season for the next 3 years. UGH! I want Roller's GM. Bring in Billy Beane!

Billy Beane made a few dumb moves I think last offseason. That Holliday trade was a little dumb just because Street had an off year.

You think it's rough being a Mets fan. Look at me, I'm a freaking Royals fan!

HAHA, loved it... can't stop watching the highlight, catch, force, tag! awesome! Enjoy! What a freaky play! Fielder playing close to the bag to get Murphy allows this to happen. If the runners aren't going it's a single up the middle, and probably eventually another blown save for Lidge! Crazy! only the 15th time in MLB history that happens!

I think Dink has seen that headline.

btw... Scott.
At least with being a royals fan, you got your starting pitcher and you had nothing to lose.
My A's actually didn't have much to lose other than that idiot Tim Kurkishtan guy predicting and jinxing us. We had an option of we did lose with our young pitching.
Dinkins's Mets were supposed to win their division with the big moves they made this offseason. Remember my old baseball video? I picked them to win it all and now I and Sports Illustrated must eat our words.

Yeah, saw that. I think they owe him way to much money to let him go unfortunately. Madoff really screwed over the Wilpons.

The play of Luis Castillo never gets old.. as much as I hate the Yankees, I'm just happy I didn't see that live.

We were on a roll in April and in May a little bit, but by the time June hit it was back to the typical Royals. We haven't even made it to the playoffs since winning the World Series in 1985 (the year I was born ironically enough). I realize the Mets and A's are supposed to be good and we aren't, but I'm sick and tired of losing. I hate Trey Hillman's managing, I think he should be fired.

I think it's pointless for the bad teams in baseball to fire their managers. Like Manny Acta in Washington or the countless managers the Pirates have had. What difference does it make? Your team is going to suck anyway. No manager can save them.

The Rockies fired their manager and the Penguins fired their coach... look where they are now?

What about the Dolphins firing Cam Cameron? Firing bad coaches works out for a lot of teams. Not the Raiders though

Herm Edwards needed to stay haha. If Cable is fired, then fine. I don't think it's really the coaching staff that bothers me right now.

The Rockies fired their manager and the Penguins fired their coach... look where they are now? I'm talking teams that have been bad forever in Major League Baseball. The Rockies made the World Series a couple years ago. The Penguins were in the Cup Finals last year. The Royals have been historically bad. It's much more than just the manager.

I really don't know who to blame for the Mets season. Is it all Injuries to blame?

The Royals have been historically bad? We were the shit in the 80s, now we have just sucked. And if you watch Royals games, obviously Hillman doesn't seem to know what he's doing. He should have had us at least doing decent this season. But all of a sudden we were one of the worst teams in baseball again. Hillman has to go.
Herm was horrible, worse than any Raiders coach that was fired this decade, except Bill Callahan, haha

They definitely have had alot of injuries, but I don't think they would have beat out my Phils for the division anyway. They had quite a few cracks then. Their front office is pretty bad. I'd be surprised if they keep Minaya. I've seen many owners give votes of confidence then fire their people. Happens all the time.

How come I never see Whale and Dinkins argue very much regarding baseball? I thought the Mets and Phils had a huge rivalry, yet the two of you never argue, while roller and I go at it all the time with the Chiefs and Raiders! Do you two really love each other that much? haha

Not to mention the Giants-Eagles rivalry! Your teams are rivals, yet you two never talk smack to each other!
