I don't understand why they aren't allowed to play in the Pac-10 Tournament. I understand the NCAA Tournament/NIT ban, but was it that serious to ban them from even the conference tournament? The only other time I recall a team not allowed to play in their conference tournament was Baylor in 2004, but their situation was a lot worse and there were much more serious violations committed.
This is pretty typical of USC, getting low character players, even basketball. USC thought they got a huge gain in recruiting when they got Mayo, didn't go so well in the long run. I feel kind of bad for USC basketball players, coaches, and fans though. One player screws their program over.

I feel for the current players... most of them weren't on the team with OJ Mayo... and all the guys from last year's team left because of the scandal.. just penalize Tim Floyd.
