Oh Damn... Everyone here jumped on the SF Giants bandwagon because of Tim Lincecum!!! It hurts.. but thank goodness I didn't have to see the Giants make the playoffs. Yes Lincecum is a Pac-10 alumni but I hate him!!GRRR

Roller, he only won because Wainwright and Carpenter split the vote. Wainwright actually had the most first place votes. It shouldn't hurt. It's just an award.

I knew he won due to that. It was obvious and there was an article written on Bleacher Report predicting it would happen. Now the Giants fans here are gonna be talking shit because of it. All they brag about is Lincecum and their park... but nothing else!

It wasn't obvious he'd win. Look at how close it was even with the split!

haha Giants fans brag about their park. Well they do play in a very nice ballpark, unlike the Cave in Oakland!

They can't brag about history or success. How many titles have the Giants had since 1958? Any? NOPE!! All they have is a juiced man with the #25 who hit an unfair 762 home runs... and a Couple Cy Young awards. They do have a future with all the high draft picks finally becoming players in the big leagues.

They really hate Oakland and LA. Why bother? Remember the Dodgers and Giants are the West coast version of Yankees-Red Sox. Of course Oakland is the local rival....

I still don't get why you're a Lakers fan though! You being the guy that hates all the teams that lots of people hate, but you make out with the Lakers. I still believe that you should be teh Warriors. After all, they are the Bay Area team, who said they're only San Francisco's team when they play in Oaktown?
You always cry about ESPN hating the Raiders and A's. But they want to bang Kobe Bryant and the Lakers!

I like the Lakers because of my family. They came to California before the warriors did and my parents followed them during the years they lost to the Celtics in the 1960s... they stuck by them since. I actually get annoyed when ESPN talks about Kobe...
The Warriors really aren't an Oakland team. If you look at the fans, very few are from Oakland. My classmates never cared about the warriors and I went to a school in Oakland. Not even when they beat the Mavs... no one cared. The Warriors fanbase was really bandwagonish when they upset the Mavs... I didn't want to join the craze like alot of Laker fans did during that year.
The Bay Area is too damn liberal to side with them. I don't have Bay Area Pride... just Oakland pride. The Warriors are just a team that plays in Oakland, but in reality aren't an Oakland team when it comes to fans.
