Ginny, maybe this is the perfect time for Al Davis to make amends with Mike Shanahan and hand him over the GM/Head Coach job.

Davis doesn't seem like the type of person who makes amends. You have a better chance of John Madden coming back to coach them than Shanny...

Cable will be fired. We all know that. It will be a typical move of Al Davis. The old man can't run the franchise! He is the second worst owner in the league behind Dan Snyder!
And I highly doubt Shanahan will come back. What if Gruden came back?

And I highly doubt Shanahan will come back. What if Gruden came back? Mike Brown would ruin a franchise circles around Dan Snyder. There are only two things I will ever give credit to Mike Brown for. 1) Naming and keeping the name of our stadium "Paul Brown Stadium". Football is too commercialized, all about profit and very rarely about the fans or the sport. Refusing to sell the naming rights to the stadium to honor his father, the founder of 2 professional franchises and a Hall of Famer is classy. 2) Hiring, and sticking by Marvin Lewis. A lot of team would have fired him by now, but the reason for the teams lack of continuous success is Mike Brown's ownership, not Marvin's coaching. I think Mike realized that and has made a commitment to allow Marvin to finally put his stamp on this team, in hopes of enduring success. |

Well I wish Cable or Madden or hell Mr Rogers come to WKU and coach.. oops Mr Rogers is dead.. well that's ok, WKU could probably afford to pay his salary!
