Yes, that maybe wasn't the exact stat but it was very similar. Horrible memories. That was Roy's last game at Kansas.

I don't even know how Syracuse managed to get that far. Melo impressed me against Texas two nights prior though, that's when I knew he'd be a stud in the future. Kansas kicked Dwayne Wade's ass!

I remember that. I actually was rooting for Marquette to win the whole thing. I was stoked when they blew out Kige's Cats. They were supposed to win the whole thing that year. Syracuse was down 17 in the second round to OK State. State let them off the hook then they blew through the field. They beat 4 Big 12 teams along the way.

I just remember rooting for Marquette that year. My Bruins were sucking under the Lose Lavin era....
Too bad this game didn't count... if only it did. Cuse can suck it though and I agree with you Whale. I hate all Big East unless it's Nova, Pitt, or a low program like Depaul or USF.

From watching the short highlight reel, with the clutch shot three pointer by that one guy, it just comes to show anyone can make a shot whether it's a D-1 or D-III person.

Pitt is the only "good" school of the Big East I have respect for. I guess it's the roots of Ben Howland and Dixon currently being there.

I remember how good 2003 was going, losing in the national title game changed everything. That was one of the only times I recall Jim Boeheim smiling, haha
Now Syracuse may have lost on a last second shot in this exhibition game, but there's no excuse that the game was that close. Should have been a blowout for sure.

I wish this game counted... Unfortunately it's just for laughs and it is quite funny but I think Cuse players going to use this game as motivation for the season.. maybe the exhibition fired them up?

It will be on their team profile when the tournament committee reviews their case come March. That's all that matter. Wins and losses don't really matter too much compared to SOS, RPI, conference record, road wins, etc.
