It's sad how UCLA has 104 NCAA titles.. but none of them are in baseball. They are one of the few Pac-10 schools without a baseball title. They've come close at times but never prevailed all the way.

What do you mean by connections? Do you mean based on their alma mater, or what team they play on? Brian Bannister is a Royal! And besides, a lot of baseball players came out of high school, most didn't even come from the United States!

I just happen to know Pac-10 alumni when I did my research. Whether it's Tiger Woods, Carson Palmer, Chase Utley, Luke Walton or Phil Mickelson... I looked up alot of colleges before I applied one day when I was bored.
Also the only reason why I knew Joe Blanton went to Kentucky was because his nickname on the A's was "Kentucky Joe." The Radio would often call him that.
