The IOC is the most corrupt organization in the sports world. Also, why is Obama out promoting Chicago for the Olympics when our country is in deep shit right now. Think he'd have better things to do. And I doubt he would have promoted it if it were a US city other than his beloved Chicago.

Chicago is one of my favorite cities. It's too bad they didn't get it. But at least Rio won over the other two since South America has never had an olympics.

Yes I'm happy for South Americans. I didn't want to see Spain host the Olympics again. But it would have been awesome for the Windy City to have hosted them. Yeah taxes would have been high, but I'd still be excited!
I'm just stunned that Chicago was the first city that was eliminated. They were saying Rio and Chicago were the top two candidates and then Chicago is the first one knocked out?
