Jack Daniels is better... though a good poor man's drink is Jim and Simply Cola... It's a matter of taste I suppose. While I do enjoy some Jack Daniels, I prefer Jim Beam. Beam is definitely cheaper, and they make it in plastic "traveler's bottles" which is even cheaper than the regular glass bottle's. My favorite chaser is Country Time Lemonade. I think it's so much better than using cola, but that's just me. If you happen to like lemonade, try using it the next time you drink whiskey. It's like a whiskey sour, but it's far less sour, and I think sour mix is waaaay too sweet, it always ends up giving me a stomach ache. |
