No one is making calls on Allen Iverson. No one. Why? They all know the answers about The Answer. sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-iverson082009&prov=yhoo&type=lgnsI can remember at one time actually liking Allen Iverson, and I understand and know that Pro athletes make mistakes, and most of the time they come back. But...there are some who just probably won't change! I think AI is probably one of those who can't! He may realize that one day and it "May" make him a good player again!

Iverson at one time was the best player in the league, great shooter, big time player (and he's not a fan of practice). He did well when he was being coached by LB, but when LB left, things seemed to go downhill afterward. Now he just doesn't seem to be that good.

Allen Iverson will always be one of my favorites. We don't sniff the 2001 NBA Finals without him. It's funny how him and Brown couldn't stand each other, but they actually lasted together for longer than those two lasted with anyone else. I wouldn't mind the Sixers giving him a bench role. Not sure he'd want that right now.

AI wants to be a starter... What's the Bench? I don't think he knows what it is.... That trade to Detroit sure exposed him.

Yeah, he needs to go somewhere and be a bench player who plays maybe 15-20minutes a night. He can be a spark plug some nights. Come back AI, don't go out like this!

I actually always had respect for AI even though a lot of guys didn't. I thought he had a lot more class than Kobe and LeBron. I hope he can get his act together. Both John Thompson and Larry Brown are telling him not to give up, that should give him the message!

He took the Sixers to the '01 Finals on sure heart! That team had nothing other than him. Then he won Game 1 by himself. Unfortunately the Lakers were too loaded to take down.

You guys are struggling more than I thought. How's Jrue Holiday working out so far?

As far as Holiday, I haven't been able to watch much lately, but he's been playing more in recent weeks. He's good for a couple buckets and 4 or 5 assists in about 20-25 minutes. He's definitely a long term project.

Yeah, if the Sixers are struggling, then it's good to give AI a try. I think that both the Sixers and Iverson are happy that they've reunited, and it looks like AI will end his career with the same team he started it with.
