I don't know if Cal payed Wall, but it's possible. I'm sure Wall will do something to get UK on probation:p
Yeah I'm not surprised the Kevin Love thing is a joke. I think he's a bust just like Hansbrough.
And Melisa, Memphis vacated their 1985 appearance as well.

This wasn't the tune you were humming before Cal was hired, Kigebert. You were really skeptical of UK hiring Cal. I'm sure he knew all of this info, but is smart enough to stay far enough away from it where he isn't implicated.

I guarantee you if the Arthur situation would have happened at UK, it would be front page news. Or if the Magette situation would have happened at UK or the Bush situation. It's a witch hunt. The NCAA said Rose is fine ....fast forward a little, oh we take that back, he isn't fine. Sorry Memphis you lose. Had Cal stayed at Memphis, none of this would have ever been brought up. The Camby thing is just ridiculous. How does a coach control a player from accepting money from an agent? and getting prostitutes during his Junior year. He was already at UMass, it's not like he took money before attending UMass. My only issue was the money to Rose's brother...that upsets me that it wasn't handled more closely.

I agree with Dink, how is Calipari unaware? I mean he at least should have been aware of the Marcus Camby incident.
Also, somehow I have a feeling if UK never hired Calipari they'd all be saying he cheated. I might be wrong, but that's probably what would happen.

Kige was calling him a shady character before he was hired by UK. The higher ups at UK must be cringing in secrecy right now. I could believe if it happened to one of Cal's schools that he didn't know, but it happened to both. Maybe he just has a don't ask, don't tell policy where he looks the other way with what his players are doing. In any event, there is something wrong. He's no doubt a great coach, but I'd like to know the truth about him at home point.

I remember my Bruins passed on Renardo Sidney as well as Lance Stephenson. You shouldn't see any trouble by Howland at least.

If Calipari got caught at one school, I may not say he's a cheater. Marcus Camby caused most of the drama. But this is the SECOND school in which a team he coaches gets caught. Yes, this mostly involves Derrick Rose and his brother, but this is the SECOND time Calipari's team got caught. The only coach to have two teams vacate NCAA Tournament appearances. That's why Calipari is a bit of a snake and somewhat a rule breaker, because TWO of his teams vacated their appearances! He's a great coach, but because of this I don't have too much respect for the guy. Good luck at Kentucky, but I feel like he could get UK on probation as well.

Why are we calling each other idiots? Scottie has a right to his opinion. I happen to agree with him (to an extent). The one thing Cal doesn't do like some coaches is look for high character individuals. He's had to get some shady kids that the big schools pass by to win at the little guy like UMass or Memphis. So I think he does look the other way at times, but he also hasn't been implicated in either report. We'll see what happens at UK.
