I'm sure one of the reasons Roller hated Kiffin because he argued with his assistants and argued with Lord Davis. But now you have your new hope Cable punching assistants!

I'm not sure but the local media here says that the team isn't distracted by this. I think it's another reason why the media really hates us to report stuff like this.

Some of you should realize this happened two weeks ago... we played during our exhibition last week and didn't look dysfunctional there. I think the media just leaked this just to annoy fans like me.

The Raiders are dysfunctional like they have been the past 6 years. And of course this was going to be reported, he didn't just punch a guy, he broke his jaw! But I guess he does fit into Oakland well. Davis will still probably fire him, because Davis has NO football sense!

I think that Mark Schlereth failed to tell the audience that he did play football with Tom Cable at Idaho! So that would tell me, another bias reporter for ESPN? Tell me that ain't true!
First Cable beats the Cowboys, then he beats one of his assistant coaches. Looks like the raiders are 2-0 in the pre-season. It's going to be a good year for the Raiders.

I'm not saying they won the Preseason game, but they weren't dysfunctional during that game. I can argue the Broncos had a more dysfunctional offseason.
I can argue that also every team has small fights during practice. This news was only leaked because it's the Raiders.

Yes there are fights at every practice, but they usually don't get physical. I guess it's not as bad as Latrell Sprewell choking P. J. Carlesimo.

Yeah, when an assistant ends up with a broken jaw I think it becomes newsworthy. Cable should be behind bars!

I believe that assistant that was punched was the same one who had problems with Lane Kiffin. This assistant can be fired for all I care.

The assistant coach may be an ass, but did he deserve to get punched? Don't be afraid to say Cable went too far, because he deffinitely did.
And I thought that was Rob Ryan who argued with Kiffin, but Ryan isn't with the Raiders anymore. His twin brother is now coaching the Jets, but does he still have his crazy long hair?
I've also come to the conclusion that Al Davis has simply brainwashed Roller, because I've seen lots of Raider fans who hate Davis. I would too if I was a Raider fan.

Cable did go too far if this is true. I still question the reporting on this because they say it was August 5th. Why would a reporter post old news like this? Another thing I ask is that is the reporter bias? Chris Mortensen is known for hating the Raiders and so is SF Chronicle writer Nancy Gay. I don't know who on Fanhouse supposedly leaked this but I don't believe it right now because I still believe this is Anti-Raider bias seeing this was reported 12 days AFTER it happens.
