Here are my predictions for the Big 12 in 2009. There will be a little bias, but I'll try to make it as unbiased as possible. Here are my predictions:

North:

1. Kansas
2. Nebraska
3. Missouri
4. Colorado
5. Kansas State
6. Iowa State

South:

1. Texas
2. Oklahoma
3. Oklahoma State
4. Baylor
5. Texas Tech
6. Texas A&M

Championship: Texas over Kansas

If Texas plays for the championship, that should be good because they don't choke like Oklahoma. And the defenses will be better in '09!

Nebraska might make some noise. Depending on how Pelini does, they have a shot.

I agree Nebraska will make noise. If Kansas doesn't win the North, then Nebraska will.

A little bit of both. Mostly that I don't think we can beat Texas. We couldn't beat them last year at home, so chances don't look too good beating them this year either. Plus the championship game is being played in Texas, the Longhorns always appear to have an advantage in their home state. But hopefully Kansas will prove me wrong.

You know what, I thought this was about Big 12 Basketball, I guess I should have paid a little more attention. Now I know why you picked Texas to win. I was gonna say, nobody with any sense would think you were a homer if you picked Kansas to win the Big 12 in basketball.
