This was kind of sad to hear. As a San Jose Sabercats fan who is the only successful local team here that won a title, it's depressing. Them and the Lakers are the only two to win a title that I've ever seen.

My dad was interested in part ownership of the NY Dragons several years ago. Didn't happen though.

You still have UCLA who gets to the Final Four frequently! Though you'll have to stomach some more 30pt defeats there.

^Actually I never have been. I'm not fair weather, but all the UCLA alumni from my family all like the Lakers and Dodgers. I gave in to liking the Lakers and I'm fine when the Dodgers do well. I'm not your typical northern Californian. I suffered the Kwame Brown era and still rooted for the Lakers when they did suck between 2004-2007. Even when the Warriors beat Dallas.
A thing to note about the Warriors is that alot of fans are from San Francisco and I hate SF. It's been a reason why I never liked them.

Makes perfect sense Jasonhawks. I'm confident in my sexuality so I gay jokes directed at me don't bother me. But if they bother you, maybe there is some truth behind those jokes.
