Hawaii football coach Greg McMackin was suspended for 30 days for using a gay slur regarding a Notre Dame chant. Me personally, I think this is ridiculous for him to be suspended. Was it out of hand? Yes. But should that get him suspended? No. What do you guys think? sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4370053

Haha it serves him right. As a San Jose State student this hit a few headlines on my facebook. Alot of my friends and myself are happy. SJSU hates Hawaii and Fresno State. June Jones started the fire when he dissed our football field.

He should know better considering the society we live in! But it doesn't bother me!

Maybe it's because San Jose State sucks. I like Fresno State, my dad got his MBA there.

Yes San Jose State sucks, but at least I get to go to football games for free.

I do think it's kind of funny though, he makes a homophobic comment but it gets him suspended for a month? Wow, the Gay Straight Alliance must have been pissed!

Hawaii is nothing but Arrogance. I usually hate Georgia, but for that one bowl game we all were happy they took a beating. You should see how rude their fans are in general. We had to deal with that infamous 42-35 loss and choked. At least we redeemed ourselves last fall beating them in their house 20-17.
