The Big 12 conference schedules more cupcakes compared to all other conferences.
They have the most non-BCS opponents in non conference schedule.
These are the stats for the 2009 season schedules counting Navy and Army on this list. I also added how many FCS opponents there are for each conference as well.
The first number also includes FCS opponents
Big 12 - 37 (3.08 per team) 9 of them are FCS with a couple teams scheduling TWO on their schedule.
ACC - 28 (2.333 per team) 13 of them are FCS obviously a few teams scheduled more than one
SEC - 33 (2.75 per team) 10 of them are FCS
Big 10 - 31 (2.81 per team) 9 of them are FCS
Pac-10 - 13 (1.3 per team) 4 of them are FCS
Big East - 23 (1.5 per team) 10 of them are FCS
Now obviously the ACC schedules the most FCS opponents, but the Big 12 gets the more rankings for running up the score, having more non-BCS opponents, and not coming through against other BCS foes with Texas being the only exception.
Sorry Scottie, not trying to diss your Jayhawks, but your Conference sure sucks in scheduling. The SEC is partially overrated too, but the big 12 is most overrated.

My god I want to win some goddamn games! Ugh! Dinkins will enjoy beating up the Chiefs in Arrowhead this week. I miss the good ol' days As for roller, the Big 12 does schedule a lot of cupcakes, but who doesn't?

I just wanted to show the proof so I'm not making up statistics. The Big 12 has too many teams ranked that don't deserve it early on.
Here is a percentage of Non-BCS Conference games for each conference.
Big 12: 48 games: 77% are cupcakes
ACC: 48 games: 58% are cupcakes
SEC: 48 games: 68.75% are cupcakes
Big 10: 44 games 70% are cupcakes
Big East: 40 games 57.5% are cupcakes
Pac-10: 30 games 43.33% are cupcakes

Scottie, it will be a severe ass pounding at Arrowhead on Sunday. You better be counting down the days till KU basketball!

Severe? The Chiefs never get SEVERELY beat in Arrowhead, but they will probably lose. By the way I think you're unaware of 4-0 KU football.

Yes we know you hate the Big 12 so shut up. Keep in mind the SEC still has 12 games to go while the Big 12 has 1. Conference rankings don't mean shit anyway. It's about what team's the best, not what conference is the best. So sad why college football had to be about conferences. Fuck the SEC.
If all teams in the Big 12 suck except for Kansas, then I'm fine. I care about one team and one team only, the Kansas Jayhawks. I'll root for the Big 12 in bowl games but that's about it. I'm not a conference homer like all SEC fans.

I don't hate the Big 12 when it comes to basketball. It's just their football and dumb Oklahoma fans of both Oklahoma schools. It's the fact they only care for football. It honestly gets annoying when Big 12 fans say the Pac-10 f*cking sucks and argue they have more ranked teams than us.
I'm not one of those SEC fans always caring for the Pac-10, but during bowl play, I had nothing better to do as UCLA was out with a lousy 4-8 record.

Here is a good breakdown of our teams and which conferences they were from.
Whale's Eagles:
Pac-10: 5 (Desean Jackson made Cal look dumb.. but I like Brandon Gibson!) SEC: 8 Big 12: 5 Big ten: 1 Big East: 5 ACC: 4 MAC: 1 WAC: 2 MWC: 0 C-USA: 3 Sunbelt: 0 FCS schools: 11 Notre Dame: 2 (Sav Rocca is obviously Foreign and the only player missing) I know you love where Westbrook went to school right Whale?
Kigebert's Titans:
Pac-10: 4 (Go Lavelle Hawkins!) SEC: 8 Big 12: 7 Big ten: 7 Big East: 2 ACC: 6 MAC: 2 WAC: 2 MWC: 0 C-USA: 4 Sunbelt: 0 FCS schools: 11 Notre Dame: 0
Dinksters's New York Giants:
Pac-10: 5 (As much as I hated Steve Smith in college.. he is sure a beast today) SEC: 5 Big 12: 1 (Rocky Bernard) Big ten: 7 Big East: 2 ACC: 11 MAC: 2 WAC: 1 MWC: 0 C-USA: 4 Sunbelt: 3 FCS schools: 7 Notre Dame: 1 (Justin Tuck)
We all knew Eli is from Ole Miss.. I just was curious of the rest.
Scottie's Chiefs
Pac-10: 4 SEC: 10 Big 12: 8 Big ten: 9 Big East: 0 ACC: 6 MAC: 2 WAC: 0 MWC: 0 C-USA: 4 Sunbelt: 1 FCS schools: 7 Notre Dame: 2
My Oakland Raiders:
Pac-10: 5 SEC: 7 Big 12: 2 Big ten: 7 Big East: 3 ACC: 8 MAC: 4 WAC: 4 MWC: 4 C-USA: 4 Sunbelt: 1 FCS schools: 4 Notre Dame: 0
It's interesting how I have the most diverse team with a little bit of everything from each conference. I know the ACC is most well represented in the NFL today. The Cardinals and Steelers are loaded with ACC people.

And about half of those Chiefs players from the SEC played at LSU.
An interesting stat for me is that my Jayhawks are sitting pretty at 5-0 even with a scrub defense. Meanwhile the Chiefs are 0-5. So I've got a damn good college team and an awful NFL team.

I'm a huge Kentucky fan, and believe the SEC is a bad ass conference... but I am far from an SEC homer. As a matter of fact, I hate every team in the SEC, and under no circumstances ever root for them, I don't care if it's in Bowl Games, NCAA Tourny, or anything. I have never been able to understand how people can root for conference rivals when they're not playing them. The only time I will ever SLIGHTLY pull for a conference rival is if they're complete garbage and are playing a highly ranked conference rival and it can benefit Kentucky.

The St. Louis Rams are on a 16 game losing streak dating back to last season. Today marks the last time they won a football game which was against the cowboys.
The Bucs are on a 10 game losing streak dating last season's not so stunning collapse.
Andy Reid called 46 passing plays and 14 running plays last saturday. Brian Westbrook looked decent, but wasn't given the ball as much as he should have been.
Donovan McNabb tried calling a timeout when there was no more left in the first half Andy Reid also wasted three timeouts before the two minute warning in the 4th quarter. He called one with 2:02 left when he should have saved that one.
The Oakland Raiders sacked Donovan McNabb 6 times last sunday. They may not have kicked the Eagles's ass, but the did kick McNabb.
Tom Brady threw 5 Touchdowns in one quarter alone....
Kerry Collins's negative passing yards was the first time since the AFL-NFL merger. (How did this happen? I didn't watch)
Kentucky's former DE Myron Pryor recovered a key fumble from Nate Washington. (Another Kentucky guy I like other than Woodson, Brooks and Steve Johnson)
Kerry Collins's rating was 4.9 in Sunday's game.
Jim Zorn can't decide between Todd Collins and Jason Campbell.. looks like they both suck haha

Trey Wingo said the Rams 16 game losing streak is more pathetic than last years Lions because they've had an entire offseason, including the draft, free agent signings and training camp to be able to mold their roster and come up with atleast 1 win...
I'd have to say I agree with him.

Here's an interesting stat I noticed:
Last year Ball State started 12-0 and the whole school was going crazy. But nothing good has happened since winning their first 12 games a year ago. First they lose to Buffalo in the MAC championship game, then they get killed by Tulsa in the GMAC Bowl, Nate Davis and coach Brady Hoke move on, and now they are 0-7 this year. Strange how things in Muncie went from really good to really bad so quickly.

Kige still can't get over that 59-0 loss, so it's causing him to do the math wrong.
