The refs gave UCLA that game anyway. Okay so we got outplayed, but the refs were still on UCLA's side. They ALWAYS are on UCLA's side. From that shot behind the backboard against Cal to that BS call against A&M, saying it wasn't a foul? Pictures showed that the guy CLEARLY was fouled but the refs missed it! UCLA pays the refs!

Yea that A&M call was terrible. I will agree with you there as I almost had a heart attack that day.
I can argue Cal's call wasn't terrible though. That backboard shot rule is designed so people don't shoot from behind it. Josh Shipp was shooting from the side of it, it counted.
If these shots count in the NBA, Shipp's counts too.

Yea I guess so. We did choke when it mattered. You know I actually didn't have faith in that 2007 team when we beat you and I was shocked we won somehow. We had no center that year.

I wasn't shocked. I was at the 2007 game in San Jose believe it or not and my lord UCLA had a HUGE advantage over us! UCLA was the home team, I didn't see that many other KU fans. Tons of Bruins though. I saw it coming to be honest, I knew you guys were good and was nervous that we'd play bad. We played awful, it seemed like we missed a hundred layups.

I actually wanted to go to the 2006 and 2007 games since they were in my backyard in Oakland and SJ. I could have watched them practiced for free but I unfortunately had school when they practiced.
The media kept showing Jawhawk fans like crazy when they showed stuff in SJ.

We had a good amount of fans show up, sort of. At least 75% of the fans were UCLA fans though. UCLA never had to leave California in 2006 or 2007 and that pissed me off.

And Kansas was the #1 seed that year. Guess that's how they split the baby!
