Wow, who would have even imagined that Tiger Woods would get beat after leading for the first 3 rounds. Especially to a guy like...Y. E. Yang? Has to be one of the biggest upsets in golf history.
I bet roller knows all about Yang. Can you explain about him?

Tiger couldn't make a putt all day. Crazy. Guess that 14-0 when leading after 54 was going to come to an end eventually.

Yang has been on the tour only three years. I only know him because I play fantasy golf on occasion. He's given me a few points for a few tournaments but I didn't have him this week. As I've said before, I get annoyed of the media talking Tiger and Phil as if no one else exists. Yes I like the fact Tiger and Phil are Pac-10 people, but they really get too much attention and it's disrespect for all others.
I have nothing against the two, but the media makes them the "bad guys" and never talks about the others.
On a side note, I got to watch the A's beat the Sox today getting a Philly replica jersey as it was turn back the clock day.

I've never heard the media make them out to be the bad guys? And look at the ratings when Tiger is in contention and when he's not. No one cares when he's not in the thing. He's probably the biggest athlete in his sport EVER! And Phil draws eyeballs because of his flawed game. He can be great, he can be unbelievably bad. He's an interesting figure. There really isn't anyone else in the game that many people care about. Perhaps John Daly if got himself together and had a chance to win at a major.

I suppose Kenny Perry is like the Sun Belt player of Golf!

This year will be remembered more for the runner ups than the winners. Will anyone care that Angel Cabrera, Lucas Glover, Stewart Cink and Y.E. Yang won the majors? I think most people will remember Kenny Perry melting down on the final two holes at Augusta. He would have been the oldest ever golfer to win a major. Then we will remember Mickelson coming so close yet again at the US Open and then missing easy putts late. We will ALWAYS remember the British Open for Tom Watson coming so very close to winning his sixth Claret Jug at age 59! Had Perry won and then Watson, Perry would have only held the oldest major champion record for 3 months! And would have been passed by 11 years! Then of course we'll remember the PGA Championship for Tiger's 14-0 when leading after 54 finally coming to an end. What a year of what ifs?! Crazy eh Kigebert?

In response to Whale:
I just was offended when watching Around the Horn during the 2008 Masters championship and all the sports writers had no respect for Trevor Immelman. It's really annoying that is all the sportswriters talk about when they say a tournament isn't one without Tiger.
I think we'll remember the runners up too, but it seems no one gives props to whoever wins the major. It comes to show that Tiger is human.

That's ESPN Roller. They suck up to all the elite athletes! P.S. Too good to respond to my comment?

Are you happy that for once an Asian won roller? (even though Tiger is part asian, he's a part of every race I think)

Anytime Tiger loses its good. Though I think he took all the recent criticism of his antics on the course to heart. He didn't really get mad or curse much. That always turned me off, and must have turned off every golfer on the course. Such poor behavior. He's definitely the greatest and its not if he'll pass Nicklaus, its when, but I can't stand the antics.

I guess you'll have to blame ESPN for my reason on why I kind of smile when Tiger loses.

Wow you really hate ESPN. I do too, they don't have any respect for Kansas football, and don't respect Kansas basketball that much either. But they don't hate us as much as Kentucky, it's all about the Dukies and Tar Heels at ESPN.

Can you blame anyone for hating ESPN? It's the Brett Favre Network

ESPN hates the Raiders, A's and almost anything West Coast. They only support the LA stuff whether it's USC, Lakers or Dodgers. Do they ever poke fun of a team that isn't on the west? If someone finds a video where ESPN laughs at the Detroit Lions please post it here. I've never seen it.

I've seen where they laugh at the Lions plenty. You weren't paying much attention this year then. What proof do you have that they mainly poke fun at west coast teams? I haven't seen it. And face it. Most of the good teams on the west coast play in LA! Sorry fella!

ESPN just loves the big name. Brett Favre, LeBron James, Alex Rodriguez, etc.

I wasn't paying much attention to ESPN when the Lions went 0-16 because I was home. I don't own cable TV at home and I only watched ESPN when in the dorms in College.
