Well my beloved Hilltoppers aren't doing exactly what they were predicted to do. They're 4-3 and tonight will most certainly be a loss on that record as well, playing against Vandy! AJ Slaughter was preseason Sun Belt POV, and so far no one has told AJ that there's been a game yet. I'm hoping after Christmas my Tops will wake up and realize, it's time to play! Good Luck tonight Tops!

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP)- A.J. Slaughter scored a career-high 30 points to lead Western Kentucky to a 69-65 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Monday night.
Slaughter scored 17 of his points in the second half of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Tipoff. He was 10-for-16 from the field, including 5-for-10 on 3-pointers. Sergio Kerusch and Steffphon Pettigrew scored 13 points each for the Hilltoppers (1-0).
James Eayrs led the Panthers (1-1) with 13 points. Patrick Souter added 12 points and Ricky Franklin had 11.
Western Kentucky, which trailed by six early in the second half, used a 7-0 run to pull ahead 42-41. After nine lead changes, the Hilltoppers led 58-57 with 5:45 remaining.
Slaughter made two foul shots in the final minute for a 66-59 Hilltoppers lead. The Panthers trimmed the deficit to two on an Eayrs basket with 4 seconds left, then Kerusch clinched the victory with two free throws.
That was a close game last night! I suppose a sloppy win is a win! Now if they can just do better tonight against LSU. Hopefully last night was just 1st game jitters! Game time tonight at 7:00.
GO TOPPERS!

I know Elson will continue to coach until the end of the season. Hell for $500,000 I would too! I would for 5 bucks though!

Is he the first coach to be fired this season? Well smart move. I think you guys should consider big time assistants. I'm thinking of Charlie Strong, Florida defensive coordinator. I think Memphis got fired their coach today too didn't they?

Well right now, I wouldn't care if they hired the head coach of american school for the blind! He couldn't be worse than 17 straight loses! At least I have something to look forward to next football season. This is the first year in years and years that I've not been to about every single home game. First homecoming I've missed in 1o years and it was depressing. I'm not the only one who feels that way. WKU's ticket sales went down 50% this year from last year! That was one of the reasons the AD and Pres had to do something. They have GOT to pay for that new Stadium! And I have to have reason to say "GO TOPS"
