sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4772952I'm completely stunned and in a loss for words. He says it's because of his health, what the hell is wrong with his health? I guess he realized that Florida was beginning to decline so he left at the right time. Probably going to be the new Bears coach.

Weird move. If he takes a job somewhere else, then that would be wrong. As long as he takes time off for a couple of years....

Must have been a slip of the tongue since he is taking a BREAK and medical leave. ESPN and other websites jumped the gun too quickly....

This is why I hate Urban Meyer. He is a dick, and I think that he planned on creating this drama. I had a feeling he was going to come back immediately, Florida already knows what that's like with Billy Donovan, but man, he's an idiot. I hope Cincinnati crushes the Gators!
And what do you mean ESPN jumped the gun too quickly? Meyer and the Florida athletic department PUBLICLY announced that he had resigned. I don't know if the media should be ripped because Urban Meyer is a dumbass!

At least he didn't wait a month like Brett Favre knows how to. I didn't hear what the media said and I'm not offended with this. Resigning would have been a stupid decision but the leave of absence makes sense.
